MIT European Career Fair 2019, Boston: Dr. Sigrun Wegener-Feldbrügge (JUNO), Prof. Dr. Andreas Weber (CEPLAS), Dr. Sandra Berger (IRTG 1902, SFB 1116)

The IRTG 1902 and SFB 1116 took part in the MIT European Career Fair in Boston on February 16th, 2019 as part of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) organized presentation of 53 research groups under the banner of “Research in Germany”.

This career fair is the largest of its kind in the United States, with over 90 attending organizations and around 2000 registered students, working professionals and recent graduates from renowned American and European universities.

For the first time the Heinrich Heine University (HHU), represented by Dr. Sigrun Wegener-Feldbrügge (JUNO), Prof. Dr. Andreas Weber (CEPLAS), and Dr. Sandra Berger (IRTG 1902, SFB 1116), participated in this annual event. The HHU booth was well visited from interested students and scientists who left well informed about research at the HHU, career opportunities, collaborations and exchange programs in Germany.

On Sunday, the DAAD invited to the “Research in Germany” information session in which participants get to know the German research institutions personally.
