Congratulations Dr. Kirsten Jander!

Kirsten Jander successfully defended her doctoral thesis entitled  "Regulation of vascular functions by the transcription factor Grainyhead-like 3" on July 23, 2020. Kirsten has been a member of the IRTG 1902 since October 2016 and completed her doctoral work in the laboratory of Prof. Dr. Joachim Altschmied, Molecular Cell & Aging Research - IUF - Leibniz Research Institut of Environmental Medicine.  

In 2018 she spent 6 months in the USA on an exchange in the collaborating laboratory of Professor Swapnil Sonkusare at the University of Virginia.

Kirsten will be staying in the Lab of Prof. Altschmied, at least for the next 6 months, in her new role as a postdoctoral researcher.
