At the beginning of this special year two HHU doctoral researchers visited their partner labs at UVA: Francesca Leo stayed in the Isakson lab and Laura Sophie Hilger visited the Peirce- Cottler lab!

Francesca: “My experience in the Isakson lab was great! Everybody is super helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is great all around the campus, from the colleagues to the medical personnel for our medical visits. I will wish such an experience to anyone.”

Unfortunately we were not able to host UVA doctoral researchers or Rise students in Düsseldorf during this year but we are looking forward to 2021!
